What is Girls Rock Camp Madison?
Girls Rock Camp Madison is a week long day camp for girls focusing on building positive self esteem through music. The camp begins with the basics of playing and performing in a rock (or punk, or funk, or jazz, whatever!) band. Camp includes lessons and band practice, a variety of workshops and a final showcase where each band will play for friends, family and hundreds of screaming fans!
Who can go to Girls Rock Camp Madison?
GRC Madison is open to girls ages 9 to 18. No musical experience is necessary and you don't have to bring your own instrument or equipment (although you can if you like!)
Who runs the camp?
GRC Madison is organized and led by a group of musicians, performers and teachers from the Madison area. Lead staff includes Halle Pollay, Camp Director; Beth Kille, Music Director; and Scott Meskin, President of the Board of Directors.

What happens after you receive send my application?
The Camp leaders and instructors will notify all campers as soon as possible with an acceptance letter and information packet about the camp session. Girls on the waiting list will receive a letter and a packet as well, and as soon as a space becomes available, notification will happen by phone!
What is the daily schedule of the Camp?
Monday through Friday, camp will start promptly at 9:00 am and will end at 4:00 pm.
Is the Camp or Showcase open to the public?
The Camp is NOT open to the public. Everyone involved in the camp is thoroughly interviewed and must be wearing an ID badge at all times.
The Showcase IS open to the public, so invite all of your friends, family and neighbors to see your rock star shine!
